Yes, I've shaken off my Friday Funk and awakened to a Sublime Saturday. We have electric in the addition! Nevermind that it's only rough electric; we have POWER. I could, conceivably, hard-wire the coffee maker in the powder room addition and brew up some java (and what could be better than a coffee maker in one's powder room, I ask?).

That's Steve. Steve is MrBug's partner. He's an electrician. I like Steve. This morning I liked him so well that I showed him my pajamas!

Oh, you all are afire with curiosity, aren't you? Get your minds out of the gutter! He was here very early and since early is an obscene time for me, I hid in the bedroom with a cup of coffee until my Mr. Hyde persona wore off and I was, once again, my mild-mannered Dr. SpedBug personality. He had to use the soon to be second, upstairs bathroom and, while he waited on the steps, I had to run across the landing to make sure Savagefuzzball's door was closed before he came up. Believe me, my morning hair, smeared makeup and servicable pajamas aren't titillating anyone.

Guess what MrBug found when they cut through the ceiling for the vent? Brace yourselves, it's like something out of a horror movie....

Apparently there's a small hole in the porch roof and hornets had, in the past, constructed this huge nest. Thank God this was old and uninhabited! The perspective in the picture doesn't do the size of this nest justice. Creepy. VERY creepy.

I'm off to butt heads with Photoshop, again. I'm determined not to let it get me down, today, as it did yesterday.

Tonight is dinner with our dear friends which can only improve my mood. Tonight's dinner is hosted by *them* which boosts that mood-improvement another notch. :) Ah, life is good!

LOL, TW! That was cute.

Spedbug, I am very impressed with your photoshop prowess!

And I agree--electric is good.

Thanks. I feel as if I'm in a power struggle with Photoshop. I do something it doesn't like and it freezes up on me and I have to reboot the computer to get it back....then, of course, all the work I've done is lost.

Note to self: Save in Photoshop more often. ;)
