For someone who's supposed to be busy......

I'm on here a lot, today.

A question for those of you more familiar with LJ than I --

What does it mean when some friends in a person's list are in bold script? Mine are all "regular" and uniform but I've seen lists where a third of them are bold and the rest "regular".

If you look at my friends the bold ones are riends that are on both of our lists. And if you look at your own friends list, I think it is users who are both friends and you are friends of.

Out of the three answers I see here, I believe sirroy has the correct answer. If you are looking at someone's user info page and you see that some of their friends have bolded names, that's because these people are also on your friends list.
