Birthday thing:
1. Pick your birth month.
2. Cross out anything that doesn't apply to you.
3. Bold what best applies to you.
4. Copy to your own journal, with all twelve months under a journal cut.

AUGUST:
Loves to joke. Attractive (I wouldn't launch a thousand ships but I don't scare people, either). Suave (so says MartiP) and caring(I'd like to think so). Brave and fearless (to a point. I'm still going to scream and insist someone else come kill the spider if I'm not alone). Firm (depends on who I'm dealing with) and has leadership qualities (I can be bossy but I dislike being in charge). Knows how to console others. Too generous and egoistic. Takes high pride of oneself. Thirsty for praises. Extraordinary spirit (Maybe. I'm not sure what's meant, here. Easily angered. Angry when provoked. Easily jealous. Observant. Careful and cautious. Thinks quickly. Independent thoughts. Loves to lead and to be led. Loves to dream. Talented in the arts, music and defence. Sensitive but not petty. Poor resistance against illnesses Learns to relax. Hasty and trusty. Romantic. Loving and caring. Loves to make friends (I'm just not that social).

All twelve months )

What does your name mean? (first and middle):
First name: Derived from Old French aimée meaning "beloved"
Middle name: Celtic or Gaelic for "God is gracious"

Are you named after anyone?
No.

Do you have any favorite nicknames people have called you or you wish you had been called?
I like "Bug" (my father's nickname for me), "Pumpkin" (my stepmother's nickname for me), "Sped"(my journalism teacher's nick for me - also my internet name for years and has bled over into personal life).

If people don't get your name right, what is the name people are most likely to call you?
I'm called "Francis" quite a bit due to my last name which sounds like a first name and a last name put together. If people aren't listening closely, they think I'm saying my first name is "Francis". I have to patiently repeat my last name and say, "My last name begins with an F. [says name] That's all one last name". (People still get it wrong).

Did you ever have a name that you wished was yours instead of the one you were born with/ given by your parents? If so, do you go by it now?
For a brief time, in my youth, I wished my name was Maria. I like my first name so I'm happy with it.

If you were ever to have a child/ have ever dreamed of naming a child/ have named a child, what are names you like/liked?
For a boy, I like the name Dmitre Michael, the pairing of my grandfather's name and my father's name.
Dmitre means "Earth Lover" and Michael means "who is like God".
I also like the name Peter which means "rock or stone".

Savagefuzzball's name is a masculine name derived from Augustin and means "revered, exalted". Her middle name (my mother's name) means "Consectrated to God".
I also flirted with naming her Micah (also a masculine name..hm, do we see a pattern, here?) meaning "who is like God" or Kate (not Katherine, not Kaitlyn, not KatIE, just Kate) which means "pure, virginal".
