My husband's father, an American soldier in Germany during WWII, brought this book out of the country as a 'souvenier'. My MIL recently gave it to my husband and we're curious as to its history. It seems to me to be a propoganda book that any German family might have owned - the photographs inside are independent of the page and remind me of the type you'd collect and glue in.

I'd love to hear if anyone knows anything about the book. For those interested, here are pictures of it:

The book isn't in the best condition but, on the other hand, not in the worst condition, either. The whole of it is in German so I have no idea what it says, either (although I could go to Alta Vista "Babel Fish" and put in blocks at a time if I wanted to, I suppose).

Apparently, according to miketrollstigen's translation from one of the photos, above, it's sickening pro-Nazi propoganda.
