Elizabethtown

I finally saw this movie, today. I know the critics gave it an overall bad review but I absolutely loved it. It has most of the things I adore in a movie - quirky characters and humor, romance, plenty of dialogue plus life-affirming messages and positive character development.

I will own this movie with pride, despite its craptastic reviews. Hopefully, those poor reviews will help me get it for under $15! :)

First I've heard of it. I only watch movies that are at least 10 years old, waiting for the crap to float away into oblivion, so that what remains has passed the test of time. No idea why I do that; it never works!

This one might be 10 years old in dog years!

I like a movie that takes me through an emotional roller-coaster ride and have the utmost respect for those that can make me laugh and cry, simultaneously (so far that has been "Steel Magnolias" and this one).

Don't wait for this one. You might hate it but why prolong the agony?

OK, just for you. I liked Steel Magnolias, so that may be a good sign. I won't cry though.

Of course not. But you just might get something in your eye that causes it to water.

Won't. Movies aren't real, so that would be silly.

You're tempting me to come poke you in the eye.
